Title: IT Technical Support Specialist
Duration: 6 Months Contract with an extension
Location: Allen Building, Milledgeville 31062
Overview:
Provide ongoing IT support for users via phone and site visits, troubleshooting issues and implementing software solutions to optimize operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain IT operations (e.g., operating systems, security tools, hardware/software)
- Install, configure, and support hardware, workstations, and printers
- Resolve end-user issues, enhance productivity, and ensure system efficiency
- Train employees on IT systems and provide technical support as needed
- Research and implement new technologies and perform system upgrades
Required Skills:
- Expertise with troubleshooting MS Office 365, VPN, Adobe, and encryption tools (3+ years)
- Proficiency in resolving issues with peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.)
- Experience in Active Directory and troubleshooting end-user devices
- Basic networking knowledge (e.g., command-line troubleshooting)
Salary
30 - 34 /hour
