About the Job
· Provide 24x7 technical support for the BCCS application, including configuration and environment management.
· high-level estimate requests, perform software compatibility testing, and evaluate system performance.
· Perform capacity planning, sizing, and modeling for the CIS application and related services.
· Offer general consultation, troubleshooting, and issue replication/documentation.
· Conduct performance management and provide recommendations for system improvements
· · 8+ years of experience in technical support for legacy CIS applications.
· Proficiency in Oracle database management and HP-UX environments.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
· Experience in handling service capacity planning and performance evaluations.
Qualifications and Requirements: Experience: 7+ years of experience in data migration and cleansing, preferably in CIS applications or similar large-scale enterprise systems. Technical Expertise: Strong experience in data scripting, data transformation, and working with legacy data formats. Database Skills: Proficiency in Oracle databases and familiarity with HP-UX operating systems. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data integrity and quality. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent documentation skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Modern CIS Solutions: Prior experience integrating legacy data with contemporary CIS platforms is highly desirable. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with ETL tools and data migration frameworks. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to data handling. Experience in utility industry or customer information systems (CIS) migration projects.
