Primary Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support: Provide daily support for desktops, including operating system updates, software installations, maintenance, and hardware issues.
- Ticket Management: Respond to and resolve assigned tickets, escalating issues to appropriate support teams when necessary.
- Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for all desktop-related support inquiries and issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain support documentation for Tier 1 Service Desk personnel.
- Collaboration: Work with higher-level technical teams on system planning, upgrades, integrations, and issue resolution.
- Task Management: Effectively prioritize tasks to meet customer needs and demands.
- Project Support: Assist with projects related to desktop support, including system upgrades, integrations, and administration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience supporting standard office productivity applications and computing platforms in an enterprise environment.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload efficiently in response to customer demands.
- Familiarity with project tasks such as system upgrades and integration.
- Degree in a relevant field and experience in desktop support within an enterprise environment is preferred.
