Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) Inspector
Location: Rosslyn, VA (on-site)
Pay: $62.50 - $70 per hour
Client: Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI access
- 3+ years experience conducting TSCM
- Interagency Training Center TSCM certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid passport
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct TSCM inspections using sophisticated equipment
- Prepare reports on findings for senior leadership
- Assist with equipment logistics and operational status
- Recommend new detection equipment
- Support investigatory activities related to national security
- Travel 40-50% (domestic and international, including high-threat locations)
Required Skills:
- TSCM tradecraft and inspection techniques
- Knowledge of national security policies and TSCM standards
- Understanding of classified material regulations
- Radio frequency (RF) countermeasures systems expertise
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with intelligence community standards and directives
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environments, including austere conditions
- Willingness to relocate to Rosslyn, VA
