Technical Writer 2 - ASRC Federal Holding Company

ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This position will support the Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS).  This system allows remote monitoring and maintenance of mission critical equipment such as terminal radar stations.  

• Produce high quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our RMLS applications. The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with Developers, Product Owners, Product Managers to interpret technical information into seamless products for applicable audiences.
• Knowledge and experience working under agile methodology
• Responsible for working with agile teams to obtain in-depth understanding of the application requirements.
• Develop, write, and edit, standardize technical material for reports, manuals, instruction books and related technical and administrative publications concerning work methods and procedures.
• Provides documentation from concept and design to development and final review.
• Creates documentation for a variety of work products, including technical reports, user guides, operations manuals, hardware descriptions, training material, and briefings.
• Create videos to help end users understand application features.
• May create graphical images, flow charts, and diagrams for inclusion in documentation and presentations. Assist stakeholders in defining documentation requirements.
• May attend meetings, documentation reviews, working groups and briefings
