Some of the things you will do as a Technical Writer
- Writing, reviewing, and revising Quality documents, including but not limited to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions (WIs), complaint investigations, change orders, and training materials
- Maintain records and files (paper and electronic)
- Lead cross functional documentation projects as requested and under the direction of the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Manager
- Write clearly and concisely to meet the needs of the target audience
- Ensure documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. good documentation practices, GDPs, and current good manufacturing practices, cGMPs)
- All other duties as assigned
What education and experience you will bring to HCL
- Experience in a cGMP setting preferred
- Previous quality assurance experience is a plus
- Familiarity with medical device expectations (i.e., CFR 820 and/or ISO 13485) is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Multitasking ability
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in a self-driven, performance/results oriented, fast paced collaborative environment
- Excellent critical and analytical skills
- BS/BA degree with 2 years of experience or 5 years of experience
