LOCATION: 100% Remote, PST
DURATION: 6 month contract with possible extension/conversion
PAY RANGE: $37-47/hour

Our client is looking for an outstanding technical writer. Q Business is a generative AI powered assistant that can answer questions, provide summaries, generate content, and securely complete tasks based on data and information in your enterprise systems. It empowers employees to be more creative, data-driven, efficient, prepared, and productive.
In this position, you will create and publish technical documentation, including user guides and detailed API documentation. You must demonstrate excellent writing skills, communicating complex ideas clearly and concisely for business users as well as technical audiences. While hands-on experience with GenAI and web services is ideal, it is not required. You will need technical experience and the ability to dive deep into new technologies quickly, as well as be comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Any experience you have with Asana, XML, and Git is also a bonus.
This position requires precise documentation and clear communication, along with a solid understanding of software engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
- Author and deliver high-quality documentation for Q Business customers, with content that is accurate, discoverable, relevant, usable, and well-organized
- Write customer-facing text for consoles and help panes
- Work with other writers, engineers, PMs, and SDMs to learn about and deliver documentation
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in a writing or lead writing role
- Proven ability to work with developers and write for a developer
- Proven experience designing documentation for software APIs
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
- Passion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with a proven ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
- Experience with XML-based publishing systems
- Some experience with web services and related technologies a plus
- Git, GenAI, and Asana knowledge a plus
Degree or Certification:
- Degree or certification in a relevant technical field
