TYPICAL DUTIES OF A TECHNICAL WRITER AT SONOVISION:
- Work within the technical writing team to develop maintenance documentation for the aerospace industry.
- Provide Subject Matter Experts experience to the writing team and illustrators to develop the most comprehensive and concise information possible.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet budget and schedule constraints and delivery requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE:
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn new things and enjoys solving puzzles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as XML, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with S1000D, ATA2200, DITA and/or MIL-Spec specifications.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.
- Adaptability and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure with professionalism and accuracy.
- Experience in one or more of the following industries: aerospace, defense, transportation, or energy.
