Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($41.35 to $48.75 W2). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered. Company benefits may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending or health savings account, life, and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
The Technical Writer will collaborate with the Architecture team to produce the following deliverables:
- Architecture Building Blocks (ABB):
Detailed documentation of the foundational components of the architecture, including functionality, capabilities, and requirements, as defined within the TOGAF framework. - Solutions Building Blocks (SBB):
Documentation outlining specific technologies, products, or services used to implement the architecture. This includes detailed technical specifications, integration points, and operational guidance. - High-Level Reference Architecture Documents:
Creation of visual and textual documentation outlining the overarching architecture at a strategic level. These documents will guide future project teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with architectural goals and best practices.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software industry or with technical documentation.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., C#, Python, JavaScript) and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Writing Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with detailed understanding of Microsofts style guide and a strong attention to detail.
- Tools: Proficiency with documentation tools such as Markdown, Git, , Visual Studio Code, Azure DevOps and Microsoft Word and Presentation.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
