- Role Summary: As a Technical Writer, your main objective will be to produce high-quality documentation for the Viva suite of products, with a specific focus on integrating Copilot into Viva Engage. Your work will play a crucial role in enabling users to effectively utilize and navigate the products.

- Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards.

- Maintain records and files of work and revisions.

- Collaborate with clients to determine subject material and technical specifications.

- Develop and test user scenarios that demonstrate how to use the products.

- Interact with product experts, managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to identify content needs.

- Provide guidance and instruction on writing styles to support documentation creation.

- Contribute to the documentation plan, reviewing data to inform improvements.

- Adapt technical language to customer-friendly content.

- Utilize Microsoft publishing products C3 and GitHub (preferred but not required).

- Conduct technical writing, editing, and proofreading for Microsoft.

- Familiarity with the Microsoft Style Guide (preferred, not required).

- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  - Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, journalism, or communications.

  - 5-7 years of experience in technical writing.

  - Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.

  - Experience in creating documentation for a technical audience.

  - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  - Familiarity with GitHub and Markdown.
