Job Title: Technician Field Engineer Pay Rate: Up to $21.50/hr DoELocation: Orlando, FL Zip Code: 32825Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract Keywords: #TechnicalFieldJobs #EngineeringJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Unloading & Inventory: Unload trucks, inventory equipment, and stage items for installation.* Equipment Installation: Position and install UPS units, PDU units, and other critical infrastructure.* Cabling & Connections: Route and connect server room cables, blue power cables, and install circuit breakers. * Perform rack connections and disk deployments as specified.* Mechanical & Electrical Work: Install and maintain mechanical systems such as air conditioning ductwork, high bay ducting, and GPS antennas. Handle electrical tasks including UPS power-up, circuit breaker installation, and electrical lockout/tagout.* System Configuration: Complete system integrations including IOS desk configurations, EPO systems, and power verification. Install and configure network components and perform system checks.* Documentation & Reporting: Mark equipment positions on the floor, complete debriefing tasks, and provide detailed reports on installation progress and issues.* Travel Required 60% of the time* Travel length varies between 1-4 weeks with breaks in between trips* Various military base locations, domestic and overseas(Bahrain, Japan, Belgium, Poland, Italy)* Travel will be 80% overseas and 20% domestic* First trip is scheduled to Bahrain ins January 2025REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * US citizenship required* Active Passport Required* Must be experienced with Hand Tools (drill, hammer, wrenches, screwdrivers), Dexterity, Quality Standards, Electrical Schematics, Assembly Drawings, Electrical Equipment and Lean Manufacturing* Must be mechanically inclined with some sort of service technician/installation experienceBenefits: * Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision / glasses / prescription contact lens and eye test options available. * On the job training / cross-training to develop and expand skills, creating opportunity for advancement and personal development.
