Technician - Hiring Immediately at LSI Staffing

LSI Staffing is HIRING a Maintenance Technician at our client in Baytown Texas! 

Pay $20 or more depending on experience! ENTRY LEVEL TECH MECHANICALLY INCLINED! 

WEEKLY PAY-TEMP TO HIRE-DAY SHIFT 


 Technician I
Baytown, TX 77523
Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Full-time, 40 hours a week (8 hours a day)
Pay $20 an hour

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine, preventive maintenance and repairs on portable dewatering pumps, air compressors, and generators in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning pumps and compressors. Determine possible causes and perform repairs.
• Test and document proper operating parameters.
• Provide essential tools for the job and regular maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Develop customer rapport through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
• Train and assist other service technicians.
• Always promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years of technical service experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment is required.
• 2 years minimum of technical service experience maintaining and repairing dewatering pumps

 
Education:

• A High School diploma or GED is required

 Skills:
 

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• A basic level of understanding and competence with computers and associated systems (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.), business systems, distribution channels, and accounting practices.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
• Willingness to grow within the business.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
