Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience $28 - $31+ per hour, OT after 40 hours, quarterly branch performance bonus
Location: this role will be based in our shop in Buford, GA 30518

Have you got what it takes?
Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.
- You should have 1-3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment background.
- Experience with diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, as well as drive trains is required.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, minor and major repairs on hydraulics, electrical, ignition, transmission, drive trains, and pneumatic systems.
- You have diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with a good mechanical aptitude.
- Basic understanding of schematics, computer diagnostic software, and welding methods preferred.
- Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; $3,000 - $7,000 in value.
- High quality control. Respect your work and make it known.
- Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
- Team-player, you work well supporting your team to achieve goals.
- You are a self-starter and motivated to be successful. Career growth is available!
