Technician-Installer Level 1 (Full-Time)
Job Summary
The Level 1 Installer is an entry-level installer. The Level 1 Installer will be expected to pull transport cables, coax cables, power cables, fiber cables and be able to assist with the installations. The Level 1 Installer will be directly supervised and instructed by a Stockton Telecom manager or a Level 3 or 4 Installer. The Level 1 Installer will not perform Level 2 and above work operations/job activities unless properly supervised. The Level 1 Installer will not progress to Level 2 without a minimum of 1.5 years of experience or documented equivalent proficiency, as determined by Stockton Telecom.

- Capable of performing addition or removal of non-powered or passive equipment/hardware
- Not perform Level 2 and above work operations/job activities unless properly supervised.
- Not progress to Level 2 without a minimum of 1.5 years of experience or documented equivalent proficiency, as determined by Stockton Telecom
- Pull transport cables, coax cables, power cables, and fiber cables.
- Assist with installations.
Physical Requirements
Level 1 Technician may be expected to, and must be capable of performing the following:
- Climb a ladder.
- Climb stairs (up and down)
- Physically lift up to 50 pounds (or more)
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers
- Pull cable/wires.
- Ability to wear protective equipment/apparel.
- Operate safely on worksite.
