About the Job
Qualified individual will maintain JRCR buildings and surrounding facilities in an orderly condition by performing the following duties while providing customer service to JRCH internal and external guests. Casino Facilities team member will complete all daily work assigned by following the direction of the supervision team and understanding and following the departmental policies and procedures. This will be achieved by arriving at the assigned work area prepared to begin the assigned shift on time and with all necessary tools and information. The Casino Facilities team member will acknowledge that communication is the responsibility of both the management team and themselves and therefore will communicate to management on a daily basis any needs or questions.
Responsibilities:• Empties cleans, scrubs inside and outside of trash receptacles and recycle receptacles
• Cleans windows, mirrors and poster glass and or plastic
• Cleans debris from sidewalks, casino entrance areas and paved areas with the use of brooms, shovels, pressure washers, etc.
• Cleans and maintains pool area, tests chlorine and PH levels and add chemicals when needed
• Provides service, lubricates and changes necessary parts and materials to equipment
• Assembles and Moves furniture, equipment or other items as needed
• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment
• Assists journeyman with needed help and service
• Utilize hand tools with moderate skills
• Ability to operate power washers, steam cleaners, skill saws, power drills and sawsall
• Ability to climb ladders in order to clean vents, lights, and service areas
• Ability to follow lighting charts to change lights accordingly
• Ability to operate aerial lifts and powered industrial trucks
• Ability to tow and back up a loaded or unloaded trailer
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments
• Pick up, sort or compact using the baler recyclable material
• Pick up and exchange water bottle dispensers
• Inspect and make minor repairs to gaming chairs
• Event venue change over’s
• Must immediately report any safety concerns to supervisor
• During working hours, wear the uniform that is provided
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• One month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two year experience required Maintenance and or Floor crew
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Required to perform this job:
- Ca. Class C driver’s license required - must be vehicle insurable through JRCR’s Agent
Pay range: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
