Title: Technician, Op Support 1 Dir

Essential Duties:
+ Dispatches emergency response to include Boeing Security, Fire, Incident Action Team (IAT), Lackland AFB Fire, and contact as required with San Antonio Emergency services
+ Dispatches to required locations on site for Ground Support Equipment/Aircraft Support Equipment (GSE/AGE)
+ Tracks weather, to include activation of weather alert notification system as required
+ Updates and maintains the site Aircraft Status board (Bird Farm), to include both physical and computer based models on a continuous basis.
+ Schedules aircraft for re-fuel, de-fuel and lavatory servicing.
+ Authorizes, monitors, and logs all aircraft engine runs, tows, taxis and certifications.
+ Provides site overview of site designated electronic confined space monitoring system.
+ Coordinates the follow me truck for arriving, and departing flights for each program (C17, KC135, 787, 747). Dispatcher will not coordinate with pilots for flight patterns. This is not an air traffic coordinator position.
+ Maintains a weekly flight schedule board for “at a glance” status and maintain electronic copies for two years.
+ Provides notification response to Desktop Emergency Notification System (DENS) and DIALOGIC system alerts as appropriate.

+ High school diploma or GED required
+ Previous experience coordinating and dispatching vehicles preferred
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
