+ Department: Diagnostic Cardiology
+ Schedule: Full-time DAY - 6am to 4:30pm Monday Friday, every 5th weekend rotation. Every 5th week on call rotation. 10 hr shifts

+ Required - ARDMS or RCS certification and BLS
+ Salary - $33.44 - $50.16 Actual compensation offered will vary based on factors incuding applicable licenses, certifications, education, experience, location, qualifications and comparison with associates in similar roles.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedure to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.
+ Set up and adjust all imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducer to perform exam.
+ Implement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
+ Perform routine and complex studies and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
+ Recognize significant structure, artifact, pathology and equipment limitations.
+ Position patient and select anatomic and technical parameter accurately.
+ Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
+ Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
+ Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transferdate.
+ Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transferdate. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
+ Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted. Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) also accepted.
+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
