About the Job
Maximus is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Writer to join our Technology Consulting Services growth team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with teams to develop clear and concise documentation that supports our technology solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, write, and edit technical and non-technical documents for a variety of audiences.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information on products, services, and technologies.
• Coordinate stakeholder input, fact-checking, and integration of written text and graphic design.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, readable documents for technical and non-technical users.
• Ensure all documentation meets company standards and adheres to best practices.
• Manage updates and revisions to technical literature.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand product documentation needs.
• Recommend standardized processes and best practices to improve product quality and organization.

Requirements:
- Due to federal requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
- 7+ years of related experience required.
- Experience reviewing and editing work products written by other team members.
- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Mastery of English grammar, sentences syntax and formatting.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office products including Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Project Management, systems or business analysis, solution architecture, operations/sales/capture management, and creating/executing pursuit strategy.
Desired:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Display a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
