This director will have the opportunity to be responsible for Data & Analytics strategy, execution, and support for commercial bank. The primary business functions supported by this role has several large transformational programs in flight. Including a strong understanding of Commercial and Corporate Lending business and additional experience in developing data & analytics strategy, developing business cases, target-state solution architecture, and delivering large transformational efforts focusing on application rationalizing, modernization and migrating to cloud.
In this role, you will:
+ Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
+ Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
+ Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders
+ Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans
+ Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
+ Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third party providers
+ Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
+ Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
+ Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent
+ Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
+ Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers
+ Lead team to achieve objectives
+ Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums
+ Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership
+ Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
+ 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 4+ years of Management experience
+ 5+ years of Data & Analytics Engineering experience
Desired Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of large-scale cloud modernization and migration to GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and/or Azure CSP
+ 5+ years of management experience in Commercial and Corporate Lending technology organizations at a large financial and/or FinTech institutions with specialization in data and analytics
+ 4+ years of executive leadership experience managing a complex technology organization of large scale, including senior managers, managers, individual contributors, and vendor resources
+ 4+ years of risk and regulatory reporting experience
+ Experience in effective management of technology financials
+ Demonstrated ability leading multi-year large scale modernization and rationalization programs
Job Expectations:
+ Ability to travel 20% of the time
+ Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
+ This position offers a hybrid work schedule
