General Summary:
The Technology EAM Business Analyst leverages analytical skills and Maximo EAM expertise to elevate user satisfaction and optimize DART's Maximo EAM system. Key responsibilities involve analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions to enhance business processes and boost efficiency within the Maximo EAM system. Additionally, the Technology EAM Business Analyst must demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, deep knowledge of the Maximo system and business processes, and collaborative teamwork skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with design, development teams, and business stakeholders to define objectives and requirements.
- Design, test, and document solutions for Maximo EAM problems or enhancements to meet user requirements.
- Document all procedures, configurations, changes, and updates within the Maximo EAM Team to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base.
- Respond promptly to user inquiries, complaints, and requests for assistance, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with technical staff to identify optimal solutions for resolving issues, working towards common goals.
- Support project efforts and provide technical support as needed to maintain high technical standards.
- Provide feedback to management on areas for Maximo EAM improvement, supporting continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in Maximo EAM user meetings to discuss technical support needs and recommend improvements, promoting a user-centered approach.
- Develop user manuals and guidelines to ensure consistency and provide users with necessary information for effective system use.
- Monitor incoming technical support tickets, gather data, and log details meticulously.
- Participate in special projects or assignments as requested by management, contributing to team success.
- Develop and deliver training programs based on user support needs, empowering users to utilize the system fully.
- Actively engage in knowledge sharing and cross-training to ensure team coverage for all essential tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide 5-star customer service and meet Agency service level agreements (SLA).
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Science, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of relevant experience with Maximo EAM version 7.6 or higher.
- Maximo EAM Version 7.6/8.0 certification is required.
- Valid Texas Class A, B, or C driver’s license, no Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) conviction within the last sixty (60) consecutive months, not more than one (1) DWI on driving record, and not more than three (3) convictions of moving violations within the last thirty-six (36) months in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles, or drive in the course and scope of job.
- Proficiency of PC software applications to include Microsoft Office or other related software applications for developing and maintaining technical documentation, project timelines, and work-related materials.
- Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills to develop plans, articulate objectives, and implement client-focused solutions.
- Customer service and client relation skills to provide exceptional services, identify client needs, and suggest performance-enhancing solutions.
- Willingness to work collaboratively, support colleagues, and promote a cohesive work environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must maintain all certification(s) required for this position.
- Must be able to work variable hours, to include emergency response to outages.
- Must be able to perform work from remote locations as needed.
- Must be able to work in an on-call rotation.
