POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The position of Technology Field Supervisor is done for the purpose of expanding technology utilization through supervision and technical support at the school and site levels.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
· Hires, Directs and supervises technology specialists as part of the implementation of the District’s technology plan.
· Supports the implementation of technology initiatives as aligned with the District’s instructional initiatives.
· Manages special projects as appropriate to the work assignment, which may include plans for school/site level, coordination of work flow, inventory management and installation.
· Manages special projects as related to school construction and technology deployment.
· Coordinates with other departments to support technology needs.
· Coordinates with vendors for equipment purchase.
· Provides direct and indirect customer service support for technology software and hardware issues through a tiered service model.
· Analyzes data for the purpose of anticipating service support modifications.
· Participates in the equipment inventory process by providing oversight as related to the work assignment, reviews annual report and supports the audit function.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
· Reports directly to and is supervised by Executive Director of Technology.
· Supervises Technology Specialists as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):
Required:
· Three years of experience in use of computers, peripheral devices, Microsoft software and related or similar operating systems.
· Associate’s degree in computer science
Preferred:
· Three years supervisory experience
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS (positions in this class typically require):
· Valid Washington State driver’s license required to drive district vehicle
KNOWLEDGE (position requirements at entry):
· Knowledge of computer systems, hardware and peripherals including Microsoft operating systems.
· Knowledge of network configuration for peripherals, including wireless and cloud technology.
· Demonstrates knowledge of project management.
· Knowledge of general trouble-shooting techniques for software, hardware and network systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, odors, chemicals, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, and intense noises
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
CTSA Professional Technical salary level 6 $110,859 to $116,694 annual salary (starting at $110,859) 40 hours per week, for a 261-day annual assignment. Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life-insurance eligibility is based upon 630 hours worked within a school year. Retirement provided through Washington State Department of Retirement Systems. Other benefits include vacation and paid holidays.
