JMT Technology Group, a leading geospatial, software, and information technology solutions provider, is looking for an experienced and energetic relationship builder to join our team as our regional director in Texas! The successful candidate will work with our team to build relationships and support our clients with technology solutions that make their work more efficient and allow them to make better data-informed decisions. As a trusted consultant, this person will expand JMT Technology Group’s footprint in Texas and the surrounding states and drive positive revenue growth.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Leverage and build relationships to create opportunities to consult with clients in a way that is advantageous for the client and JMT Technology Group.
- Integrate with the JMT team including multiple offices, regions and verticals.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of clients and competitors in the region.
- Develop and execute a strategic and tactical plan to promote growth in the region .
- Identify strategic opportunities for proposal development related to target clients in the region.
- Support client retention with multiple touchpoints including presenting new solutions, services, and capabilities and attending industry events.
- Advocate for your clients – ensure project managers and project teams are delivering on-time and within budget.
- Drive revenue and profitability for the region.

- Must be able to travel within assigned geographic territory as well as to other JMT office locations and domestic travel for conferences
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business, marketing, GIS, information technology or related field
- Minimum of five years of information technology and/or geospatial consulting experience
- Minimum of five years of information technology and/or geospatial business operations experience
- Minimum of five years of personnel management experience
- Minimum of five years of experience with state and local government clients, specifically in the transportation, airport, water/wastewater, environment and natural resource, facility, and/or public safety markets
- Minimum of five years of project management experience
Working Conditions
Work is performed within a general office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
