Job Description
The Technology Process Engineer role is to oversee the design and implementation of company processes, process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. This role includes developing, configuring and optimizing processes that support the company's business goals and expectations for outcomes. To ensure success in this role, extensive experience in process design and high level analytical skills are required.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing a process to define effective changes to improve efficiencies or outcomes to drive business goals
• Develop new processes to include associated KPIs to measure process success, performance
• Maintain alignment with cross functional processes and process owners to ensure continuity, maintaining relational dependencies between processes in the ecosystem.
• Interact with technology and operational owners to effectively assess impacts of existing and future state processes, engaging in UAT, process simulation.
• Testing and monitoring of processes throughout development and once in production.
• Utilize the results of monitoring to identify opportunities for improvement and implement them
• Engage in related troubleshooting efforts to ensure process continuity
• Define and maintain document requirements to support implementation and development of processes into production
• Establishing procedures and controls for process management to include process development best practices, controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure processes remain optimal in changing environments to include formal sign off and release.
• Participate in platform development efforts to ensure process alignment to future state and recognize conflicts of future state plans or efforts.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer for process training.
Requirements & Skills:
• Extensive experience in process development in complex environments with multiple and intersection processes that drive key business outcomes
• Experience identifying process metrics and KPIs and associated mechanisms for reporting on them.
• 3 to 5 years' proven experience in process engineering, process design or similar role supporting the development, improvement and maintenance of complex processes
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Information Technology preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of process related standards like FMEA (other?)
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Knowledge in technical process development protocols and requirements a plus.
