About the Job
PRIMARY ROLEsomeone who will be responsible for understanding user requirements, creating user documents, configuring and administering the CommCare system to support improvements, providing various support services to users including training.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with maintenance and enhancement projects related to organization-wide data, reports, and systems.
Partner with clinical teams and operational teams across the Suffolk County Department of Health Services to to increase efficiency, reduce parallel processes, bolster application support, grow end user tool adoption, expand access to cross-functional data, and improve the ability of our stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. The candidate must be able to learn tools and processes quickly while being responsive to fluid stakeholder needs.
Application Configuration and Administration: Provides application configuration and administration services for CommCare system being used to support COVID-19 patient management efforts.
Training and Documentation: Supports training efforts to help build application capacity organization wide through specific trainings and the creation of educational materials and manuals.
Data Management and Cleaning: Assists in analyzing and cleaning data within the CommCare system used to support Suffolk County's COVID-19 response activities.
Analysis & Report Development: Develops dashboards and reports using analytics tools such as Sisense, PowerBI, Tableau, and Excel for various internal teams, cross-departmental and cross-geographical audiences, and management.
Application and Process Design: Assists in evaluating and improving processes across the organization using CommCare stack of technology, leading requirements gathering and testing.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar area
5-8 years of relevant experienceProven ability to learn new systems, processes and problem solveAttention to detail
Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries
Experience with healthcare related software preferred
