Overview
Novant Health seeks a remote PRN Teletherapist I for our Call Center in Winston Salem, NC!
The Teletherapist I provides support to our 24/7, 365 behavioral health call center line. The Therapist I will answer incoming calls from a variety of sources including but not limited to the Novant network, community hospitals and outpatient providers, insurance providers, community partners, and the community at large. The Therapist I will also provide crisis support and linkage to appropriate resources as needed.
This individual will also demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to the age and cultural diversity of the patients served. In addition, the therapist will uphold and demonstrate the Novant Mission, Vision and Values: Compassion, Diversity, Personal Excellence, and Team Work. The Therapist I will work under the supervision required by their specific license and/or state board requirements.
Qualifications
+ Education: Graduate Degree, required. Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field.
+ Experience: One year experience (including internships or pre-doctorate residencies), required.
+ Licensure/Certification:
+ Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate or Licensed Psychological Associate, required.
+ Supervisee in Social Work, Resident in Counseling or Psychology Resident, required.
+ NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire. Team members in strictly remote positions are exempt.
+ Additional Skills (required): Good working knowledge of computers. Ability to care for Behavioral Health Age Specific populations.
