Job Description
- The Telecom Analyst II in the Corporate Network Services Customer Interface Group is the telecommunications liaison for the user community addressing issues related to the availability and functionality of core Voice products and platforms, voice messaging systems, audio and video conference platforms.
- The position independently supports system design, user change requirements, problem diagnosis, system installation and support, and repair and maintenance for a full range of telecommunications equipment encompassing analog and data technologies, but maintains open communications with management regarding these issues.
- The position also supports and must greatly contribute to a collaborative team environment, proactively sharing information across the team, establishing documentation, workshops with team members and enhancing an interactive team setting with consistent knowledge sharing.
- In addition this analyst works with other CNS groups, Procurement, Voice Applications teams to design new communication systems based on new technology and user requirements. The position provides input and resolutions to Help Desk tickets, keeps the Help Desk, management and the other team members, informed about product changes for telecommunications peripheral equipment they order, and updates the technical rules they use to assist with problems. Finally, the position assists the manager and other team members with training new personnel.
