Purpose of Job:
1. Manage telecommunications systems and projects Operations.
2. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure to support operational requirements effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Design, plan, and implement telecommunications systems, including voice, data, and video communication networks. · Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality, performance, and compliance of radio communication systems. · Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure the successful deployment and integration of telecommunications solutions. · Conduct feasibility studies and assess technical requirements for telecom projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards. · Supervise the installation, configuration, and testing of telecom equipment and systems, adhering to best practices and industry standards. · Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecom infrastructure, minimizing downtime and disruptions to operations. · Monitor telecom performance and capacity, implementing measures to optimize network efficiency and reliability. · Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on telecom-related matters. · Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the telecommunications industry, recommending innovations and enhancements to improve system performance. · Maintain accurate documentation and records of telecom designs, configurations, and maintenance activities. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address telecom requirements for new projects and expansions.
Design, Plan, and Implement Telecom Systems:
· Design, plan, and implement voice, data, and video communication networks.
· Conduct feasibility studies and assess technical requirements to align with organizational goals

Testing and Troubleshooting:
· Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate telecom system functionality and compliance.
· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telecom infrastructure to minimize downtime
Stakeholder Coordination:
· Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of telecom solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address telecom requirements for new projects.
Performance Optimization:
· Monitor telecom performance and capacity, implementing measures to optimize network efficiency and reliability.
· Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Radio Communication:
· Design and plan radio communication networks, including frequency allocation and interference mitigation.
· Conduct propagation studies and site surveys to assess radio system coverage and performance.
· Develop and execute testing plans to validate radio communication systems.
Continuous Improvement:
· Stay updated on telecom industry trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system performance.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records of telecom designs, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
· Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunications systems.
· Proficiency in telecom protocols and technologies, including VoIP, SIP, MPLS, and wireless communication.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecom engineering roles.
· Hands-on experience with telecom equipment and tools, such as routers, switches, PBX systems, and cabling infrastructure.
· Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in telecom system design and implementation.
· Experience working in industrial or plant environments is an advantage.
