Position Title: Telecom Splicer
Telecom Splicer:
A Telecom Splicer should be able to do the following:
· Responsible for compiling and delivering all necessary reports and deliverables to your supervisor.
· Ensure the cleanliness of the splicing lab and equipment and conduct regular inspections and calibrations to keep equipment up to date.
· Splice copper lines precisely to ensure seamless connectivity and minimal signal loss.
· Terminate cables by attaching connectors to the ends of cooper lines, ensuring proper connectivity and signal transmission.
· Conduct tests to verify the integrity and quality of copper lines, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and identify faults in the network.
· Maintain accurate records of all splicing and termination activities, including cable routes, splice locations, and test results, to facilitate future maintenance and repairs.
· Strictly adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
· Collaborate with technicians and project managers to coordinate installation and maintenance activities effectively.
· Travel is required.
