Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Telecom Technician (Cabling/Circuit) for a 2-year contract assignment with one of our premier hospitality clients in Orlando FL .
This is a 2-year contract ( fte conversion is an option but not expected nor guaranteed).
Onsite work is Mon-Wed, remote work is Thur & Fri.
The team needs someone who has Structured Cabling and Circuit Provisioning experience.
A construction background is a benefit.

Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. Experience is considered in lieu of a degree.

Skills:
- 3+ years of work experience integrating, implementing and supporting network and telecommunication and client/server integration.
- Basic level client/server architectural understanding.
- Moderate level network and telecommunications architectural understanding.
- Hands-on understanding of software development techniques and methodologies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite of products - MS Office, Visio and Project.
- Ability to prioritize concurrent projects at the task level.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and subjects in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with peers and outside vendors.
- Acts as technical resource in support of day-to-day execution related to new technology deployments for WVO sites and facilities (fulfillment).
- Collaborates with the Site Infrastructure Engineers, Project Management and technology project and supports teams ensuring technology integration configuration standards are implemented and WVO technology support and standards documentation gets maintained and updated.
- Performs basic engineering tasks associated with planning, design, installation (as needed), testing, deployment, and support of all site technologies.
- Collaborates with more experienced engineers to provide follow-up and engineering assistance on defined problems. (40 % time)
- Supports the administration functions related to due diligence assessments on proposed projects to determine technical requirements and points of integration (20% time)
- Performs basic to moderate configuration of infrastructure integration technologies (15% time)
- Works with higher level Site Infrastructure Engineers and project managers to help minimize the impacts to adjusting project priorities as needed to meet the overall needs of the organization. (15% time)
- Assist with testing and documenting of new integration tools and methodologies (10% time)
