We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Field Engineer in Fairfax, VA, to provide expertise in telecommunications systems, including requirements definition, design analysis, and acquisition support. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in telecommunications systems, focusing on the planning, analysis, design, development, and troubleshooting of state-of-the-art systems for government and public safety applications.
Key Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $40 - $90/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Key Responsibilities
- Engage in the planning, analysis, design, development, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems.
- Define and implement state-of-the-art telecommunications systems for government and public safety applications.
- Identify potential problems and solutions through detailed analysis, and provide recommended solutions based on findings.
- Support the requirements definition and analysis of alternative designs for telecommunications systems and services.
- Assist in the acquisition of telecommunications systems and services, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and standards.
- At least three (3) years of experience in telecommunications system experience, including requirements definition, analysis of alternative designs, and acquisition support.
- Proven experience in defining and implementing telecommunications systems for government and public safety sectors.
- Strong background in the planning, analysis, design, development, programming, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems.
