About the Job
At DCOMM, the Telecommunication Manager requires a positive can-do attitude with the ability and willingness to take action. This individual oversees the installation and maintenance of communication lines for an organization. In this role, you will work with the contractors to oversee the installation of new communication systems ensuring they work properly. They also control headcount fluctuations and work closely with the DCOMM recruiter. To be a successful Telecommunications Manager, you should have experience in the same or similar role, demonstrate the ability to influence technicians and business partners alike positively.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the required headcount (With focus on W-2)
- Vendor management (Meet set headcount requirements through 1099 onboarding)
- Facilitates cross-functional communications and cooperation with internal departments and service partners (sub-contractor)
- Focus on various employee initiatives (E.g., employee appreciation)
- Communicate with clients, provide required feedback and information.
- Lead, direct and guide employees (E.g., Technician, leads, supervisor, etc.)
- Ensure all safety initiatives and policies are followed
- Performs field safety observations and quality control checks in accordance with company TQA requirements.
- Resolves and proactively prevents customer escalations
- Establishes positive employee relations through effective individual and team communication and ongoing support
- Instills knowledge of all client's company products and services
- Maintain records and documents in accordance with company (Client & DCOMM) policies and procedures
- Adhere to industry specific local, state, and federal regulations
- Knows, understands, and follows company policy
- All other tasks as assigned by upper management
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- A valid driver's License w/ 3 years of acceptable driving history
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in telecommunications management
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- High degree of initiative, team building, and dedication to effective positive change.
Salary:
- $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year or Depending on Experience
