We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Operations Specialist in Fairfax, VA, with at least three years of experience in supervising telecommunications operations and personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications systems and applications supporting business functions, including 9-1-1 services. This role involves analyzing information requirements for public safety communications centers and other operational environments, evaluating workflow and organizational issues, and developing recommendations for operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
The base range for this contract position is $40 - $90/per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Analyze information requirements and operational needs for public safety communications centers, emergency operations centers, 9-1-1 public safety answering points, and call centers.
- Supervise telecommunications operations and personnel to ensure effective management and performance.
- Evaluate problems related to workflow, organization, and planning within telecommunications operations.
- Develop and implement recommendations for operational improvements based on analysis and evaluation.
- Ensure that telecommunications systems and applications are effectively supporting business functions and operational needs.
- At least three (3) years of experience in supervising telecommunications operations and personnel.
- Demonstrated use and understanding of telecommunications systems and applications supporting telecommunications business functions, including 9-1-1 services.
- Proven ability to analyze information requirements and operational needs for various telecommunications environments.
