Crozer Health is seeking a part-time (8 shifts monthly) Board Eligible/Board Certified psychiatrist for the health system’s 24-hour psychiatric crisis center. Psychiatrist will provide remote, telehealth coverage, working nights/weekends to evaluate and treat patients in crisis and find the most appropriate and least restrictive level of care. The psychiatrist works in collaboration with an onsite mid-level provider who triages all patients. ?Patients will be assessed will be assess and recommendations made to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Psychiatric and Medical license.
- C-L fellowship training or experience is a plus but not required.
- Current MD license in the State of Pennsylvania required plus current DEA registration.
- Skilled in providing psychiatric care to all age groups.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate with patients from various backgrounds. Provides culturally competent care to patients.
- Comfort with technology and ability to utilize EHR
- Ability and comfort level to coordinate with onsite providers.
- Comfort level with technology.
- Psychiatrist has private and confidential space to conduct patient interviews.
- Provider is solutions oriented and support the mission of the healthcare organization.
- Comfortable with technology and experienced with telehealth
- This is a fully remote position, 8pm-8am shift.
