About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Telemetry **Job Duration:** 13-week contract **Shift:** 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, 3x12-hour shifts, every other weekend commitment **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required **License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license **Certifications:** BLS-AHA, Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam **Must-Have:** Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience, ASN required, BSN preferred; English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing **Job Description:** - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. - Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs. - Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. - Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for patients through initial and ongoing assessments. - Initiate assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework. - Perform therapeutic nursing interventions. - Manage care of patients and document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities. - Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery. - Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model. - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Schedule Notes:** Every other weekend commitment, 1 RN to 6-7 patients.
