Job Description
Eurofins/CEI is looking for a TEM Laboratory Technician to join our team The successful candidate will be responsible for the following aspects of the job: TEM sample preparation, data entry, maintains equipment and work areas as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Perform daily balance check, thermometer other basic lab activities;
- Maintains equipment and work areas as assigned.
- Maintains, cleans, prepares glassware, and other laboratory appliances for the use in TEM sample preparation Lab.
- Performs sample log in
- Sample preparation (Bulk, AHERA, Dust, Soil)
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors Degreen in transferable area of study
- Good interpersonal skills
- Responsible, reliable and good team player; like routine work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Must have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Experience handling micropipettes and tweezers is preferred
Additional Information
Candidates within commutable distance of our Cary, NC laboratory are eligible to apply. This role will be a full-time role, first shift (9:30 AM- 5:30 PM) Monday - Friday and may occasionally required weekend work.
Salary Range: Starting at $18-19 an hour.
Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business section, and geographic location
