Local Houma office hiring full time or part time temporary payroll administrator!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
- Payroll processing for bi-weekly and semi-monthly employees across the United States
- Processing of ACH payment.
- Gathers, audits, and calculate payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Maintains and processes employee records such as, but not limited to; new hires, transfers, compensation changes, terminations, leave of absence to ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Coordinating with the HR & Benefits department on employee data.
- Providing daily administrative assistance.
- Resolving issues with employees on pay discrepancies and other payrolls matters.
- Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation and reporting of earnings and deductions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/ Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of experience in an office environment or customer service industry.
Language Skills
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication with employees, management, and administrative staff.
Computer Skills
- Must be able to use a Windows-based personal computer.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.
- Must be able to understand and use a 10 key calculator.
Other Technical Skills
- Must be organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be able to critically evaluate and problem solve daily circumstances.
- Must possess strong skills in mathematics.
- Must be able to multi-task under intense pressure to meet deadlines.
- Must possess strong time management skills.
