Speech therapists develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and to decrease aspirations. Communication treatment plans may include techniques that not only help the individual to be better understood, but also to help them better understand others.
Leads, guides and directs the delivery of speech language pathology and audiology services in the facility in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, standards and established facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.
The Speech-Language Pathologist must possess:
A valid, unrestricted license in his/her therapy discipline in the state.
Meet educational requirements of his/her licensure requirements.
Valid driver s license
Knowledgeable of skilled nursing home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1 year of SLP experience - REQUIRED
LTC or Rehab experience - Required
MO State License - Required
CCC certified SLP - Required
Will accept one Reference at time of submission

Alpine Breeze Health & Wellness is a busy 154 bed skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facility with spacious therapy spaces. Our facility provides extraordinary Alzheimer's care with a secure unit, bariatric care, hemodialysis care, tracheostomy care, and wound care among others. We are very excited about our upcoming facility and therapy gym renovation. We have a compassionate and dedicated nursing team who collaborates closely with therapy, and a fun, high energy in-house therapy team with veteran therapists who are dedicated to our residents and patients and improving their quality of life. We see a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses and both short term rehab patients as well as long term care residents. We are a newly formed healthcare company whose goal is to become the premier inpatient rehab provider in the communities we serve. We provide modalities and equipment through ACP.
