Job Description:
- The team provides operational coverage to the Fixed Income Credit derivative trading business, supporting Single Name, Index (CDX, CDX EM, iTraxx and MCDX) and Swaption products.
- Functionally the team performs trade economic reconciliation, internal and external trade compression, trade reporting, clearing and settlement for broker-dealer and client transactions.
- The team also supports key lifecycle events such as Credit event and Succession event processing, Option Exercise, trade unwinds, step-ins and novations.
- The key focus of the team is to support all processes as accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that all operational risks are identified and mitigated in line with key controls.
- Understanding operational processes and controls
- Ensuring all functions and procedures are performed in a timely and accurate manner
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across the trade lifecycle, including trading, sales, technology, novations, confirmations and settlements to assist with the accurate and timely trade processing
- Timely escalation of potential risk issues to a supervisor/manager or officer in the group
- 2+ years of experience in fixed income operations
- Strong communication skills
- Team oriented and able to collaborate across multiple operational areas and locations
- Excellent time management skills
- Works well in a time sensitive environment
- Strong Stakeholder Management Skills.
