Temporary HR Manager - Ultimate Staffing Services

● Manage HR administrative functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and record-keeping.

● Calculate payroll wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

● Manage the annual benefits renewal process, including Open Enrollment meetings.

● Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

● Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.

● Participate in employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and retention. Training and Development:

● Identify training needs within the organization and develop appropriate solutions.

● Monitor training effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary. Performance Management:

● Manage the annual performance appraisal processes.

● Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback and goal setting.

● Identify opportunities for employee development and advancement.

● Oversee HR personnel in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interviews.

● Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

Requirements Skills, Qualifications and Attributes:

● Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field

● 4+ years experience in a similar role within a Human Resources or People Team

● Experience with HRIS and ATS systems; ideally Paylocity (strongly preferred)

● Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

● Proven experience in HR management or a related role

● Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

● Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

● Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management skills

● SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
