Additionally, our team supports Edward Jones with project coordination, process management, and software solutions whenever needed.
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our team in a temporary capacity, with the role expected to continue through April 2025. Please note that while this position is anticipated to last until that date, the duration may be subject to change based on project needs.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues with router, computer, printer, phone, fax, scanning, audio and video systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair connectivity issues with cable, DSL, cellular, and T1 data circuits.
- Provide excellent customer service and advanced technical support to CBIZ and Edward Jones field, home office and management staff.
- Assist field service technicians with new branch installs, branch office moves, hardware moves, adds, and changes.
- Conduct training for new hires.
- Create and maintain documentation used by phone support engineers and field service technicians.
- Follow proper escalation procedures to ensure MAC activities and maintenance issues are completed in a timely manner.
- Develop high-level technical solutions to mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
- Handle multiple tasks and large call volumes.
- Act as a liaison between Edward Jones corporate headquarters and field service technicians.
- Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree from an accredited college or technical school.
- Two to five years of prior job-related experience.
- Excellent communication, public relations, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to use general office equipment.
- Experience with incident tracking software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
The rate of pay for this job in this market is $19.23 - $21.64. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
