We’re currently looking for a Temporary-Part Time Nanny, in Whittier, CA (90601)
A wonderful family in Whittier is seeking a temporary, part time nanny for their 10 month old, son. Care will be needed Monday through Friday, approximately 25 hours per week. An ideal candidate will be dependable, kind-hearted, and soft spoken.
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- End Date: December 7th
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8am to 1pm
- Rate: $20-25
- 1 child: 10 months old
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent overall care for a 10 month old
- Diaper and/or clothes changing
- Serving/monitoring bottle feeding & age appropriate meals (solid/semi solid food provided by parents)
- Following nap schedule
- Providing engagement/entertainment with age-appropriate activities
- Sensory
- Outdoor time
- Hands on activities
- No screen time for the child
- Encouraging development & independence
- Light housekeeping - related to the child
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 2+ years of paid, professional childcare experience with ability to provide references to cover at least 2 years of such experience
- Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Has valid driver’s license, own reliable transportation, and clean driving record
- Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
Compensation + Benefits
The position pays $20 - 25 per hour, and the family is looking for 25 hours of care per week, Monday through Friday, until December 7, 2025.
