Overview:The primary role of the Specialist, Expense is to process expense reimbursement and purchasing card reconciliation to ensure accurate monthly financials for all PDS offices. The Specialist, Expense should have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills, and be committed to achieving predetermined goals and deadlines while working within the policies of the Accounting Dept.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests in Oracle Expense modules or on the new interface as necessary.
- Receive and validate corporate card applications (via help desk tickets) including all authorized approvals and signed agreements are completed.
- Forward new applications to Purchasing Card Administrator for cards to be issued.
- Train cardholders on how to use the Purchasing Cards at the time of issue in accordance with the Purchasing Card Policy and relevant operating instructions.
- Run reporting to validate all daily transaction activity feeds into Oracle.
- Perform monthly identification and reconciliation of all outstanding transactions with the accounting department.
- Prepare monthly reports on Purchasing Card transactions and any ad-hoc reporting as maybe required to the Manager, Procurement Accounting Operations.
- Introduce and monitor applications (increasing the ceiling, unlocking cards, disputed transactions, etc.).
- Maintain accuracy by following the format for expense reimbursement processing.
- Requires heavy phone contact with PDS offices and PDS vendors.
- Implement office procedures to improve efficiency of workflow, create “team” environment and ensure office satisfaction.
- Satisfactorily complete all job duties assigned that pertain to your position within 90 days of accepting this position.
- Participate in meetings as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree(GED).
- Strong computer and data entry skills with competent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Pivot Tables.
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
Preferred
- Experience in a multi-regional healthcare, retail, or dental company.
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

Salary Information:$16.32-$27.46 / Hourly
