Tenable System Analyst

• 100% remote (EST hours)
• 3 Month Contract
• Rate: $55-65 hr W2

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document business requirements related to cyber security initiatives.
• Integrate and manage Tenable software solutions, including Tenable .audit, to enhance vulnerability management and threat detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to design and implement security controls and measures.
• Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Provide support for security incident response and remediation efforts.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of security measures and controls.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cyber security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security or business systems analysis.
• Proficiency with Tenable software solutions, including Tenable.io, Nessus, and Tenable .audit.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management and threat detection.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Information Security or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Experience with other security tools and platforms (e.g., Splunk, Qualys).
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
