Teradata Developer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Teradata Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ/Plano, TX (Hybrid). The candidate will design, develop, and maintain applications within Financial Crimes technology, ensuring a strong focus on data provisioning and collaboration with business partners to meet high-priority requirements.

 

Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Teradata Developer job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications within the Financial Crimes technology area, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Collaborate with business partners to define system requirements and design end-to-end application solutions.

• Write, test, debug, and document complex SQL and Teradata code, while ensuring application efficiency.

• Conduct data analysis and modeling, creating innovative data provisioning models for large-scale financial data initiatives.

• Manage and support the full development lifecycle, from initial concept to production, including continuous integration and delivery.

• Handle technical aspects of application maintenance, change management, and platform upgrades, coordinating with Production Support and Platform teams.

• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and enterprise change standards, maintaining effective communication with managers and stakeholders on project progress.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline; master’s degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Teradata development, data warehousing, and SQL performance tuning.

• Proficiency in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, and Informatica 10.x, with hands-on experience in the financial domain.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CICD pipelines, and tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Ansible.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $68.00 per hour
