Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to achieve sales targets and expand our client base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Act as a provider and patient advocate, working closely with our Client Services team to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
- Use your 'hunter' mindset to prospect for potential clients, using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, competitive product knowledge, and understanding of market dynamics and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in laboratory sales and account management.
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- Previous experience in territory management, lead generation, and outside sales.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable experience as a 'hunter', with a track record of identifying and converting prospects into clients.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Ability to travel as needed within the state of Tennessee.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to improve inefficient processes.
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
