The Territory Account Manager supports House accounts, maintains relationships with existing customers, and drives repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support House Accounts - via email, re-work of social prospecting, and proactive calling.
- Proactively rework prior customers in order to remain top of mind and resource as needed to keep the account updated.
- Maintain a full sales pipeline and retain strong relationships with existing customers to move new projects through the full sales cycle.
- Follow all sales processes for repeat customer projects in moving projects step by step through the CRM tool (Sales Force).
- Maintain and expand penetration within customer base through building strong relationships.
- Collaborate with various departments internally to assure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Territory Sales Team to meet territory sales goals.
- Show initiative while working independently or within the team: anticipating obstacles, planning solutions, and resolving issues.
- Maintain a high level of integrity, commitment, and trust to exceed customer expectations.
- Educate and advise customers on technical capabilities, pricing, scheduling, and the various processes of inspecting their products.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Knowledge and experience in sales and account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Must be able to influence results with customers, internally and externally.
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement.
- Must be able to execute projects/programs strategically throughout the organization.
- Must be able to work in a team environment, build internal alignment and influence internal contacts to drive accelerated sales in selected accounts.
- Associate’s degree and at least 1+ years of related customer service experience or a commensurate combination of education and experience.
- Ability to successfully build and manage client relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person.
- The position requires good, basic, clerical, and administrative skills with emphasis on verbal and written communication skills (in English), good common sense; positive attitude; willingness to take initiative; and ability to maintain confidentiality.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:
- Pushing/Pulling: Occasional pushing/pulling is required when the employee is using a hand truck to move files or office supplies. Force pounds were estimated to be up to 25#.
- Lifting/Carrying: Occasional lifting/carrying is required when the employee is moving files, boxes, and office supplies. Force pounds were estimated to be up to 25#.
- Sitting: The employee sits constantly at a workstation or desk.
- Standing/Walking: Alternate standing and walking is performed occasionally when an employee is walking to make copies at the copying machine, faxing documents, or going to assist others in the company.
- Climbing: Climbing is performed when the employee needs to climb onto a step stool to reach items on shelves.
- Bending/Stooping/Crouching: Forward torso bending, stooping, and crouching may be preference of the worker when reaching or material handling at lowered work surfaces, and/or reaching for items on the lower shelves.
- Squatting/Kneeling: These techniques can be used by the employee when performing lifting, carrying, or with position tolerance tasks. Squatting/kneeling can be applied up to 1/3 of the workday.
This position has regular verbal and written contact with administrative personnel, middle, and senior management. The nature of these communications ranges from a routine exchange of information to a process of securing information and/or responding to inquiries where explanation and discussion may be required using judgment.
