Job Description:
Must Have:
· 8+ Years of experience in manual and automation testing of bare metal embedded systems with 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers.
· Strong analytical skills and excellent ability to design effective test plans and cases based on requirements and functionalities.
· Experience on detailed evaluation of test results to identify defects and variances from functional, operational and performance requirements.
· Experience on hardware analysis tools like digital multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, Test Harness and Simulators.
· Strong understanding of QA Principles, QA Process, Use Cases and Software Development Life Cycle
· Experience on Agile methodologies.
Good to have:
· Experience in testing embedded systems used in railways.
· Knowledge of test management tools
Soft Skills:
· Capability to handle tight and demanding schedules
· Good verbal communication skills
· Good hold on English language (writing)
· Critical thinking and positive attitude
· Good listening and negotiation skills
Job Responsibilities:
· Testing of bare metal embedded systems with 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers.
· Reviews relevant requirements, standards and other documentation to clarify and understand software engineering requirements
· Adheres to the software quality process through the execution of module, subsystem and system test procedures
· Transfers and applies know-how to / in various contexts.
· Solid professional judgment and problem-solving competence.
Education:
· BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
