Job Duties
- Develops test content working directly with Validation and Engineering Program leads
- Develops SW test strategies and approaches for new SW applications
- Works with other Validation organizations across company to drive and implement best practices and lessons learned
- Influence SW designs for Validation
- Reviews and challenges current test plans, coverage, and testing activities to drive both increased effectiveness and efficiencies across the SW portfolio
- Reviews and tracks defects accurately, exploring root cause, and verifying resolved issues
- Process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency along with test metrics.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a computer related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
- 3-5 years of software validation experience
- 3+ years of strong software development or validation automation programming
- Proficient in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, Python, PHP, or JAVA
- Experience in source code management systems (GIT, SubVersion, TFS ....)
- Front-end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, VUE, Angular ...) (preferred)
- Database experience (SQL, NoSQL, ...) (preferred)
- Experience in UI Automation (preferred)
- Experience in automating scripts in automated test frameworks (preferred)
- Proven experience in test case design (preferred)
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Deployment development methodology.
- Demonstrated project management experience in delivering testing services
- Proven knowledge of industry software test and development methodologies and tools
- Experience with Operating System architecture including both Windows or Linux environments
- Familiarity with PC architecture
- Experience working in an Agile development process
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong problem solving and conflict management experience
