Test Lead/Engineer
Location: Suitland, MD
Visa: USC Preferred
Long Term Contract (15+ Months contract)

Our client is looking for a resource who has extensive experience using JMeter. 

Responsibilities: 
•    Collaborate and partner on current process and testing
•    Work as an imbedded part of the team and contribute towards the definition of test strategies and test plans.
•    Work with and manage end to end testing
•    Handle the configuration and maintenance of test environments in partnership with quality engineering team.
•    Partner with team members to game plan and build test scripts
•    Hands-on, performing test design, and executing the development of manual and automated test scenarios
•    Responsible for performing test execution, analyzing test results and communicating results to engineering and product leadership.
•    Review test scripts and test cases for automation opportunities
•    Help design and build inhouse capabilities

Qualifications: 
•    Minimum 3 to 7 years of work experience in software testing
•    Experience and knowledge in Software Testing processes, practices and test design techniques in Jmeter
•    Practical understanding of Agile Software Testing and Software Engineering concepts
•    Self-starter that thrives in a tight collaboration with software developers
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Experience in Web and Mobile testing
•    Hands-on experience in manual, automation, performance and exploratory testing in JMeter
•    Hands-on experience in test automation tools such as Selenium and Appium
•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent qualification
