An exciting opportunity has opened for a Test Specialist to join a leading organization in a highly specialized technical field. The successful candidate will play a critical role in test setup, troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis, as well as provide essential input on engineering projects. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform test setup, troubleshooting, data collection, and analysis for various projects.
- Draft and submit detailed test reports for customer submittals.
- Produce, review, and edit technical documentation, including work instructions, ATPs, QTPs, safety protocols, workflow diagrams, and test cell SOPs.
- Determine test requirements and operate high voltage electrical systems, such as transformers, switching stations, circuit breakers, and stored energy systems.
- Review and analyze engineering data, proposals, customer specifications, and reports to determine testing requirements.
- Consult with design engineers to ensure that specified engineering criteria meet application needs and recommend revisions as necessary.
- Collaborate regularly with Engineering, Production, and customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power quality meters, insulation resistance testers, high potential testers, phase rotation meters, and other digital test equipment is required.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting electrical circuits, circuit boards, and systems is essential.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% annually.
